Expert in Latino Workforce to Speak at Diversity Conference

MINNEAPOLIS, May 10, 2006 — Dr. Robert Rodriguez of Capella University will speak on recruiting the Latino talent pool at the Conference Board 2006 Annual Diversity Conference, May 11–12 in New York City. The conference, themed “Global Vision: Local Action Equals Inclusive Solutions for Diverse Workplaces,” features experts who will present case studies and examine diversity from a global perspective.

Dr. Rodriguez, Faculty Chair of General Management and Human Resources in the School of Business and Technology at Capella University, and Chairman of the Board for the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement. is a frequent speaker on issues related to Latino professionals. He also received his PhD through the human services online degree program at Capella University, an accredited online university and leader in online education. For the Conference Board, Dr. Rodriguez will offer insights on how businesses can attract and hire top Latino talent, in his program entitled, “10 Recruiting Tips for Tapping into the Latino Talent Pool.”
