MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 13, 2006 – One received a Purple Heart after being wounded by a roadside bomb in Iraq. One lost 150 pounds through a commitment to running and healthy eating. And one had to learn to walk again after breaking her neck in a car crash, and is a recent cancer survivor. They represent the three Capella University (www.capella.edu)  students chosen to compete in the upcoming Antarctica Marathon. MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 28, 2006 Capella University is once again proud to sponsor the Twin Cities Marathon, which takes place on Oct. 1, 2006. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the marathon, often referred to as “the most beautiful urban marathon in America.” The 26.2 mile course begins near the Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis, and finishes at the State Capitol in St. Paul. The course is flat to rolling, mostly asphalt, and winds through parkways, lakes, rivers and tree-lined boulevards. More than 250,000 spectators are expected to watch the event.
