MINNEAPOLIS, July 14, 2006 — Michael J. Offerman, president of Capella University, an accredited online university and a leader in online education, will join several other university presidents on a plenary session panel at the upcoming DOD WorldWide ‘06 in Orlando. The topic of the panel is “Quality of Learning: Assuring Desired Outcomes for Service Members,” and is scheduled to take place Wednesday, July 19, from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.

The panelists will address questions such as:

  • How to assure desired outcomes
  • How to avoid undesired outcomes
  • How to determine what desired outcomes are
  • How to know whether you have been successful
