Capella University Launches Gerontology Specialization within its MS in Human Services Online Degree Program

MINNEAPOLIS, October 31, 2007 – Capella University (www.capella.edu), an accredited*, fully online university based in Minneapolis, announced today that it is offering a new Gerontology specialization within its Master of Science in Human Services online degree program. The curriculum was designed around the recommendations of the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE).  

Capella University faculty member named president-elect of the Florida Association for Marriage and Family Therapy

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 30, 2007 – Dr. AnnaLynn Schooley, a core faculty member with Capella University (www.capella.edu), an accredited,* fully online university, has been named president-elect of the Florida Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She will serve a three-year term. Dr. Schooley teaches clinical courses, such as pre-practicum residency, and field experience courses, where students intern in mental health agencies, in the online university’s School of Human Services.

Capella University Offers New Early Childhood Education Specialization within its MS in Education Online Degree Program

Lead teachers in state-funded pre-kindergarten programs are required to have specialized training in early childhood education in 28 states, according to the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER).

Capella University Names Dr. Feranda Williamson Dean of School of Undergraduate Studies
